The Kraken was born in the depths of the Andaman Sea off the coast of Koh Lanta. It all started innocently enough, with the simple desire to spend free time with friends over a pint of good beer and homemade food. Cooking for family and loved ones has been my passion since childhood, and in 2018, I decided to turn this passion into something more tangible.

My circle of friends and my first guests began creating a buzz about the small Kraken, which initially served only those closest to me. Word spread quickly across our little island about a man who cooks without following clichéd or repetitive patterns. Naturally, as more guests came, the Kraken began to grow. What started as a simple beginning evolved into a full-scale business that remains unchanged to this day.

Just like in the beginning, today all our products are handmade. In our kitchen, there are no shortcuts or reheated recipes. You won’t find any preservatives or artificial additives here. Every product is based on my original recipes, crafted from the highest quality imported ingredients.

P.S. We even strive to cater to vegans by offering our "The Vegan" burger with our smoked brisket and crispy smoked bacon.

Pattaya city, Pratumnak Soi 5

I’ve seen how Kraken has grown, and I’ve been overwhelmed by all the feedback from my guests. Everyone kept telling to expand and bring that Kraken magic to more places in Thailand. So, on July 27, 2024, was opened a new branch in Pattaya, at Pratumnak Soi 5, with new menu items - smoked BBQ, and a great selection of craft and draught beers - still with the same mind-blowing flavors, but now just a bit closer to Bangkok. You can come and experience the Kraken vibe Pattaya on Pratumnak Soi 5!

We know it’s not always easy to get to our Pratumnak Soi 5 location from the north, especially in peak hours, to enjoy the best burger, exclusive draught beer, and those irresistible smoked pork ribs. So, we decided to make it even easier for north people! On October 12, 2024, we opened our third branch in Nakluea, Pattaya. The same amazing Kraken atmosphere, incredible food, and craft beer, just in a new location. It’s time to enjoy all the Kraken goodness, now even more accessible.
